Many factors are taken into consideration when planning a vacation, especially as parents are spending more time considering destinations based on their children’s interests. Our dream as parents is to give our children a vacation that they remember for life. Every kid has a dream of visiting a place of fantasy like Disney World. Disney World is a place of magic beyond any child’s imagination. However, most of us don’t live near Orlando, and visiting such a world renowned theme park like Disney World requires careful planning to ensure the best vacation imaginable.

Before you finalize your trip to Disney World please consider the following tips for effective planning

Best Time to Visit Disney: - Some visitors opt for visiting Disney World in the off season to avoid crowds, but with this decision come reduced park hours and attractions, not necessarily highlighting its most recent additions. The off season is when most theme parks ramp up new additions for release during prime time. If you want to capture the latest that all theme parks have to offer, the best time to visit is during the Thanksgiving, Christmas and summer seasons. During this period, the park is open until midnight and all new additions are previewed at this time. Extended park hours are definitely an advantage for vacationers visiting the park at that time. Extended park hours not only allow a full day at the park, but afford you the option of visiting the park in the morning, relaxing at your hotel during lunch, and returning to the park to enjoy the late night hours. Weather in Orlando: - Spring is mild in Orlando, with temperatures ranging from the fifties to the sixties. Spring also offers sprinkles of midday showers, which is quite refreshing. Summers are sometimes hot and humid in Orlando as the temperature reaches the high eighties, and Orlando prepares for this temperature by providing air-conditioned areas, shaded pool sides, covered waiting areas, sprinklers in the midst of most theme parks, and misters emerging from the most unusual locations, ensuring guests are cool and comfortable. Summer often offers a mid afternoon shower which probably lasts for about 15 minutes - just enough to cool you off, and then our fantastic sunshine is back again for you to enjoy. Theme parks are equipped with multiple water rides to cool you off from Orlando’s summers too. Indeed, Disney World has a wide cross section of parks that satisfy every vacationer’s dream. Best Time for Kids to Visit: - If you have small children (preschoolers), the best way to entertain them would be to have them experience a trip to Disney World in the month of September. At this time parks are still operating on extended hours with a variety of attractions still operating before summer actually comes to a close at the end of September. The cooler weather will help children feel fresh and allow them to enjoy the time spent watching their favorite animated buddies like Mickey, Minnie, and all the Disney character live. Be sure to pick up a copy of the theme park’s maps and show times to ensure you allow ample time to get from one area of the park to another.
